No more visits to the hair or nail salon, BUT that doesn’t mean we can’t take care of our hair, skin, and nails at home! It’s actually super important that we do!! You don’t have to do anything crazy or spend hundreds of dollars on salon products. I’ve created my own “at-home salon” routine over the years and it’s not only saved my wallet, but tremendously improved my beauty health!
Hair
Use leave-in conditioner 2-3 times a week
Here are some of my favorites that help keep my hair healthy in-between cuts!
Use heat protectant!!
This has saved my hair over the years! Apply these heat protecting sprays/creams before blow-drying, straightening, or curling to keep away split ends!
Air-dry more often.
Skip the heat and give your hair a break. I use this product to help keep my hair fresh and some-what styled even when I air-dry!
My “healthy hair routine”!
Follow these steps and products 2-3 times over the next few weeks and see the healthy shine and strength come back to your hair!!
- Shampoo + Conditioner.
- Apply a “moisturizing” or detangler spray.
- Apply your leave-in conditioner throughout your strands and roots!
- Spray your heat protectant all over before you apply any heat!
- Blow dry.
- Finish off with texture or heat block spray.

Skin
Exfoliate daily!
The best and easiest way to keep your skin glowing and healthy! Exfoliate dead skin off and give yourself an “at-home spa” experience. Here are some of my favorites that aren’t rough on skin and help keep in moisture!
The holy-grail…self tanner!
We may not be able to go to the beach right now, but we can sure look like it! My personal favorite is the Tanceuticals kit in ‘Ultra Dark’! It’s super moisturizing, smells like the beach, and won’t leave orange streaks or marks! (Head to this post for more info about their products)

Nails
Do your nails at home.
Give yourself a manicure at a fraction of the price! If you do have to remove your fake nails or dip power make sure you’re doing it SAFELY with these easy and affordable products. I use these file and buffer blocks after removing my dip nails and they’ve saved me from breakage or sore nail beds!
Here are some of my favorite long lasting nail polishes and products!
Apply strengthener daily!
This is the best way to keep your nails healthy while you can’t get into the nail salon! Apply once a day and keep from breaking! Here are some of my favorites:
Let them babies breathe!
Give your nails a break and let them breathe for the next couple of weeks! Your nail technician and wallet will thank you 😉
